Four companies have co-operated to offer a unique collection of camps and lodges providing a combination of experiences previously out of reach of most devoted safari enthusiasts. The 5 Rivers Safari includes the best-known safari areas contained within the Kavango-Upper Zambezi Transfrontier Super-Park and offers unforgettable experiences in the game rich areas existing within this Park. One special offer is the “eight night five rivers itinerary”. Guests will be transferred with a light aircraft to different beautiful places. The trip starts at Maun Airport in Botswana. First destination of the trip is Tau Pan. Here guests will stay for two nights in the Tau Pan Camp. It is situated inside the world famous Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR) right on the edge of the beautiful Tau Pan. All of the eight tents have private viewing decks, inside and outside showers and fans. The main area has a swimming pool, curio shop and library – the views and wide open spaces are unbelievable and the activities on offer here are game drives, full day excursions and nature walks with the San trackers – a most amazing activity. The CKGR gets animals such springbok, gemsbok and wildebeest in their thousands and is quite a sight to behold. Predators abound with plentiful Lions – especially the famous Kalahari black-maned Lion, Cheetah, Leopard and Jackals. Brown Hyenas and Wild Dogs are also found in the area. The next destinations are Nxai Pan, Lagoon and Lebala where guests always will stay for two nights before they will be transferred back to Maun Airport again. The itinerary costs 3.222,- US-Dollar nett per person in a twin share.
