„S.T.A.Y“ will open its first doors in Asia at Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing in September 2011.
In September 2011 the restaurant S.T.A.Y by French Chef Yannick Alléno opens in Asia at Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing. Chef Alléno takes on French classics with a twist through the clever play of simple ingredients into refined dishes with innovative presentation. A familiar dining concept in French cuisine among families and close friends, sharing-style dining at the Communal Table will be a highlight. A customised menu from starters and mains to wines will also be available at the Communal Table. For example, guests can share a starter at the Communal Table such as Salt Crusted Sea Bass or Spit-roast Shoulder of Lamb and only magnums will be served to pair with the tailor-made menu. Chef Alléno is a prodigy in reinventing dishes based on traditional cuisine. He has entered the elite circle of the world’s greatest chefs after being named “Chef of the Year” in 2008 as head chef of Le Meurice and receiving five Michelin stars for his restaurants in Paris. No meal will be complete without a visit to the Pastry Library. In redefining the old world charm of a typical French patisserie, the Pastry Library creates the same whimsical allure and adds a fun touch to end the entire dining experience on a sugary high note.
