Crystal Lagoons associates to develop the first eco resort of the world in Morocco.
The arid coast of Morocco in front of Atlantic Ocean will soon be the home of the first eco resort in the world, named Tan Tan, a pioneer and sustainable development that will enhance the natural diversity of this semi desert zone with eco friendly architecture and technology. At the heart of this ecological habitat, two crystal water lagoons of five hectares will give the living spark to this sustainable Eden, where water is used efficiently and at a very low maintenance cost, thanks to the Crystal Lagoons technology, used around the world in over 80 lagoon projects. This innovative complex of residential and touristic housing involves an investment of 180 million US-Dollars, 52 hectares, 170 villas, 450 houses and a Five-Star Hotel. Due to its sustainable nature, all materials and construction methods are eco friendly. This ideal includes even the architecture, that embeds with the landscape harmonically, leaving all protagonism to the natural beauty of its ocean and desert views. The complex will have an ecologic energy source, as well as hydroponic fields, aquiculture and its own waste management plant.
