New lie-flat beds
Air Seychelles upgrades its Boeing 767-300 business class cabins for European routes.
Air Seychelles has announced a major refurbishment of its 'Pearl Class' business cabin with the introduction of new lie-flat beds on its Boeing 767-300’s. Services to Paris already enjoy this new facility and all the carrier’s Boeing 767-300’s will soon feature the luxurious new seating. Air Seychelles has confirmed that its London, Milan and Rome routes will also have the seat upgrade by the beginning of December 2010. Removing one row of economy seats has enabled the company to expand its business class cabin, incorporating a total of 24 lie-flat beds with a generous seat pitch of 70 inches for 'Pearl Class' customers. This is an important step for the airline, as it will become the only carrier to offer lie-flat beds on direct flights between European destinations and the Seychelles. Business class passengers will continue to enjoy luxury services such as handheld entertainment systems that play an extensive range of movies, television programmes and music. In addition, the cabin has been enhanced so that, as well as the inclusion of new seating, travellers are provided with as much privacy and luxurious style as possible.
