MORE AWARDS FOR BAROS MALDIVES

Baros Maldives retains its position as 'The Indian Ocean's Most Romantic Resort' having collected three prestigious awards for the third consecutive year at the recent World Travel Awards.

At the awards ceremony for winners in the Africa & Indian Ocean Region held on April 9th at Diamonds La Gemma dell'Est in Zanzibar, Tanzania, Baros Maldives won the award for ‘The Indian Ocean's Most Romantic Resort 2016.’ The private island resort was also acclaimed as ‘The Maldives' Leading Boutique Resort 2016’ while the Baros Residence at Baros Maldives topped the list of winners in ‘The Maldives' Leading Luxury Hotel Villa 2016’ category. Baros Maldives won the award as ‘The Indian Ocean’s Most Romantic Resort’ last year, and went on to the world finals to be acclaimed the ‘World’s Most Romantic Resort’ in 2015. Mr A. Shuhan, the Resort Manager, congratulated the island’s staff members for the efforts they consistently make to ensure the satisfaction of all guests. “We value these awards highly,” he said, “and receiving them truly makes Baros Maldives stand out from other luxury resorts all over the world.” The World Travel Awards organisation was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry. The World Travel Awards is recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of quality, setting the benchmark to which all others aspire. Nominees are based on votes from qualified executives working within the travel and tourism industry and from consumer travel buyers.
